About Our Plant Shop

Meet the shop owners

Shop owners Andrew and Cassidy Meredith are plant-obsessed and love using God’s natural artwork to bring life and nature into people’s homes. Andrew has extensive experience with all things plants as the former owner of a landscaping company. Cassidy is a full time Chiropractic physician who also happens to have a passion for all things plants.

In 2017, they planted their dream (pun intended) of owning a plant shop. Cassidy had just returned from her bachelorette party where her sisters and friends gathered at a cute plant shop to drink some coffee, build succulent arrangements and enjoy each other’s company. When she returned with excitement, both her and Andrew knew at some point in time, they would like to open up their own store front following a similar model in the Tulsa area.

The Succulent Shop story

By 2019, what started as a vision became reality. Andrew and Cassidy created a mobile plant shop where they sold succulents and cactus at farmers markets and local tradeshows while also adapting a build-your-own-succulent model for tradeshow attenders and scheduled events. After a successful launch of their mobile plant business, they decided it was time to search for the right property in the Tulsa metro area to bring their store front vision to life.

The search came to an end when the perfect piece of property became available in downtown Broken Arrow. In June of 2020 – doors officially opened!

Not your average plant shop

Although plant shops are becoming increasingly popular these days, The Succulent Shop does differ in a few ways. Not only do we have an entire floor dedicated to a wide variety of house plants and locally-made artesian gifts, but we also offer workshops and have a full bar. Additionally, our loft is available for reservations for friend and family gatherings.
