off-site Rental Agreement
1. Payment
a. Rental Fee: A Fee of $150 per hour with a two-hour minimum, must include drive time. The rental fee is due in full 7 days prior to the date of use. If the event goes over the allotted time, renter will be charged for an additional $150 for each hour overtime.
b. Cancellation/Refund: If cancellation by either party is more than 7 days before the scheduled use of the facilities, the rental fee and deposit will be refundable. If Renter cancels within 7 days before the scheduled use of the facility, the deposit is nonrefundable.
c. Additional Charges: If any charges are incurred during the event, an additional invoice will be forwarded to the renter. Payment is due within 14 days of the event.
2. Set Up - Clean Up - Decorations and Rented Equipment
a. Set Up: The Succulent Shop will be responsible for setup of all equipment / materials brought on-site for your event. It is the Renter’s responsibility to ensure that the area intended for the event is clear and ready for setup. It is the Renter’s responsibility that the specifications of the area for setup is provided to The Succulent Shop in advance to ensure that proper materials are brought.
b. Clean Up: The Succulent Shop is responsible for any clean up related to the materials brought for the event. The Renter is responsible for clean up of any and all event materials not related to the materials brought by The Succulent Shop. (i.e. food, beverages, decorations, etc.)
c. Decorations: The Succulent Shop does not provide any decorations for off-site rentals unless explicitly stated during booking and confirmed with payment.
The following are included in the leasing fee and will be set up at your direction.
1. Planting Materials
2. Planting Trays/Tools
3. Succulent Care Instructions
4. Tables (if needed)
5. Decorative Planting Items (colorful rocks and sand)
There will be an additional furniture removal fee of $150 if The Succulent Shop is required to clear space for the event.
3. Food, Beverage and Products
a. Alcohol:
The Succulent Shop does not offer off-site beverage service at this time.
4. Responsibility
a. Conduct: The conduct of all participants and spectators while The Succulent Shop is present shall be the responsibility of the Renter. Failure by any individual or group to follow all applicable rules and regulations will be cause for immediate termination of event booking. Violations may result in denial of future rental requests.
b. Occupancy: The rental party shall consist of Renter(s), Vendor(s) and attendees not to exceed the agreed upon amount. Should the event consist of more than the agreed upon number of guests, The Succulent Shop is not responsible for any complaints regarding lack of sufficient material.
5. Liability.
RENTER agrees to pay for, in full, all damage to the facility or equipment that occurs during the outlined rental period. That includes the repair or adequate replacement of any object or facility damaged by the RENTER, any employee, performer or staff associated with the RENTER, as well as any paid or unpaid members, invitee or guest. Payment arrangements must be made within 14 days of the occurrence and all damages must be paid within 30 days of occurrence. Failure to abide by this measure may result in legal action.
6. Staff.
The Succulent Shop will provide appropriate staff for Renter’s event unless discussed and agreed otherwise. If number of guests exceeds the amount previously agreed upon by both parties and this causes distress to provided staff, RENTER may be fined a fee of up to $50 per additional group of 10 guests.
